There has been plenty of media focus surrounding the Adriana Lima diet plan lately. In short, Nine days ahead of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show Adriana goes on a fluid diet and works out twice a day.

Nine days before the display, Adriana feeds on just protein drinks and also exercises twice a day to prepare for the runway. Twelve hours just before the show she doesn’t drink any fluids to dry out. ”No liquids at all so you dry out, often you are able to lose up to 8 pounds only from that,” Adriana says.

Following her first remarks made headlines, she defended her extreme diet program and work out. Adriana Lima makes it clear this is not a thing she does frequently .

“I know it is very intensive but … I just have an athlete’s mind and I appreciate doing this thing,” she mentioned. “It’s not that I do crazy diets all through the year. I just do it for this particular thing. Soon after this show, I become normal again.”

That’s all their is to it towards the Adriana Lima diet prior to a fashion show, but trust me you don’t need to adhere to this diet regime if you’re just planning to get in shape. That was an extreme diet regime for a one off function that was going to be observed by millions, with millions at stake for it.

Adriana Lima Diet Plan

The Adriana Lima Diet Plan focuses on the portion control strategy. Portion control is just about how much you eat at one sitting.  In the Adriana Lima diet plan, these portions get smaller and smaller as the day goes on. Her food choices focus around grilled vegetables, 4 ounces of a grilled meat, fruit, oats, nuts and surprisingly chocolates and candy.

Sample Adriana Lima Diet Plan

Breakfast

Egg whites, oatmeal and handful of almonds

Lunch

Grilled 4 oz. meat such as fish, beef, chicken breast with a cup of vegetables.

Snacks

Raw vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, celery sticks and fruits like blueberries and strawberries. She also has a spoonful of organic honey a day reasoning “it boosts your immune system”. If she feels like it she is kind to her sweet tooth and has a piece of chocolate or some sweets.

Dinner

A small portion of salad. She likes to eat light in the evening as it helps her to sleep better.

As a model, Adriana Lima doesn’t have to be in shape every single day, but for photo-shoots, catwalks etc she has to look extra sharp. The Adriana Lima diet plan takes a twist before her catwalk photoshoots. Let me set this straight though. Before Adriana Lima  even does this she is already in fantastic shape. This is just to look extra sharp and make sure water doesn’t blur any definition on her perfect body.
